Into the woods Jr. (play) @ Eltham Little Theatre
Jul 14 @ 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

During 2024, Eltham Little Theatre are generously offering U3A members half price tickets for their Sunday matinee shows. The dates for which this is applicable for Into the woods Jr. are Sundays, 30th June, 7th July and 14th July.

This musical, by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapin, re-tells the classic Brothers Grimm fables. It centres on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s festival; and Jack (and his beanstalk), who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.

Here are the mechanics: you book your tickets online. Choose the date, then the number of ‘U3A member’ tickets, then enter the ‘502024’ discount code in the ‘gift certificate / promotion code’ box, then pay.
